Before James left we had family photos taken by some new friends of ours. They did a beautiful job and made it so easy for us. We had a lot of fun too! The children all look so beautiful! Thank you Sarah & Stacia! Click on the link above to see the photos and check out their amazing blog, Treasured Art.

Floating the Guadalupe River

We did the funnest thing ever! The Price family invited us to celebrate the 4th of July Holiday with them by floating the Guadalupe River. We drove up to Gruene and rented tubes for the float. We paid for an extra tube to put the cooler in so we could eat lunch on the river while floating. How cool is that? It was so relaxing to kick back and float and enjoy the beautiful surrounds while splashing and having fun. It ended up taking longer than the three hours because the kids found rope swings every so often so we would pull over and let them swing and jump off extremely high tree branches. It was so much fun and we can't wait to do it again. Thank you to the Price family for such a fun day!

Love the new colors!

Okay, so its taken alot longer than I ever thought to have the time to design the blog. Love the new colors! I think it will make me want to keep it up to date for family now cause it looks so cute!

Little Busy

I just thought I should put something up here. We have been so busy getting James ready and off on his mission. Our family blog has had to wait. I finally just got James' mission blog all current and can't wait for another email from him tomorrow! He is so happy and excited to be at the MTC. His letters are full of his excitement and love for the work and those around him. He loves his companion Elder Nelson from Mesa, Arizona. (I'm from Tempe!) Check out his mission blog at www.picodemission.blogspot.com. Weird, yet funny and catching name he chose...it goes great with ours....the breakfast taco. James started both blogs before leaving and now I'm trying to figure this all out. I will do my best. I think I will change the colors of this blog and make it more colorful!

The Windy Family Tree

Our first Texas park experience at a place called Bullis Park. Right before we left, all the kids climbed up into a huge tree and took a picture!

Our Family Tree!

A Walk on the River

To finish off the awesome week of Spring Break '10, our family went to the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio about thirty minutes from our casa. We ate a restaurant called Casa Rio or in English, "House....Rio." After a while, the boys figured out how to knotch the bottom of the cups together to stack them on top of each other. We would hold up the cups as the tour boat passengers would float on by, and laugh at their reactions. After dinner we walked around to see all the shops.
